								The Lowell Folk Festival®--the largest free folk festival in the nation--is three days of traditional music, dance, craft demonstrations, street parades, dance parties, and delicious ethnic foods, presented on six outdoor stages throughout the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. Audiences of over 150,000 attend over the three-day weekend. 2005 dates for the festival are Friday, July 29, 7:00-10:00 pm; Saturday, July 30, noon - 10:00 pm; Sunday, July 31, noon - 7:00 pm. Presented by Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell Festival Foundation, National Council for the Traditional Arts,  the City of Lowell, and the Christos and Mary Papoutsy Charitable Foundation. The Lowell Folk Festival® also features craft demonstrations, over twenty varieties of delicious ethnic foods and a family activity area.
