When Elpis Society membership was dwindling, Merope (Popey) Pitsas volunteered to serve as President; today the organization is thriving. Her husband, meanwhile, has served with distinction as President of the Parish Council. Together, Popey and Panos devoted years to the construction of a new community center. In November 2000 the decades-old dream was realized.  With its Greek columns and soft blue hues, Hellenic Hall is a source of pride to its parishioners. More Award Recipients
